For reasons I won't go into, I now have two Galaxy Apollos! One has had Froyo installed 'professionally'

and the second one I flashed with Froyo myself.
I have just re-flashed the second one back to Eclair and I must confess the latter seems less prone to freezing if I try to open too many apps at once. With Froyo I occasionally have to power it down and restart when it fails to respond.
My thought was that the Apollo hardware is not suited to the more "sophisticated" Froyo OS. I agree Froyo seems quicker but the only immediate advantage I can see with Froyo on the Apollo is the ability to move some apps to the SD card. It will not support Flash of course.
No doubt I will be told I am talking a load of rubbish and should get out more
