Was it a waste of money

I’ve just received my tablet and I am now wondering if it was a waste of money.
To start with the instruction manual is a waste of time.
Connecting it to my windows 7 PC all I get is just a list of drives and when I click on them all I get is please insert disc. Does it charge connecting it to USB?
I also brought the keyboard & wallet No instructions at all, which USB do I plug it in to? I doesn’t work in both.
Also what is the different between the 2 USB sockets?

All I wanted was something to show my pictures on and all I’ve managed to do was set up the wi-fi and connect to the net which I don’t.
I’m about to send it all back.

When you connect to the PC you need to drag down the notification bar and mount the internal or external storage. Then you will be able to access one or two of the drive letters. You should have no problem loading and displaying pictures. I haven't used a keyboard, but I'm assuming it goes in the host port.

Thanks for you reply. I should have have remember about mounting from my old Hero phone I used to have. I'll give it a go when I get home.
You must admit the manual is less than useful though.

I bought mine grade B, it didn't even have a manual but it did have bonus cables!

It will charge from USB by the way but I get the impression the wall charger is better.

Hmm, well, I don't consider mine a waste of money. True, it's no £600 quid device but then it didn't cost £600...
You know those Star Trek pads that you thought "hey, wouldn't it be great if we could have something like that?" Well, I've got one and it only cost me £130.

It can only get better.
