Certain Sammy handsets have battery calibration issues, but if it happens the problem is easily solveable.

Should I use the Google a/c that I have and use with the scroll or create a new Google a/c for the phone? As I am concerned that using the same a/c for the phone & scroll might mess up the fully working market on scroll

Ta once again for your advice and patience. I am a firm believer in the principle that you get issued 1 x shit filter in life, when you get to a certain age, you cannot get rid of whats in there and it will not accept anymore as the level cannot be exceeded.

Charlie: Another 'lil bit of advice.......
Make sure that KIES Emergency Firmware Recovery works on your handset before you start messing with it - its the only safe way you can recover it if you bugger it up.
Otherwise I will have to get my grubby mitts on it, and i'm busy enough as it is!

Cheers FF - I was just researching in what I could do - not going to until I have a full backup and even then I might not mess with this device.
So this - 'KIES Emergency Firmware Recovery' I am embarrassed to say that I have never heard of it before - is it already on the phone, is it something that I have to install onto the PC or it it like the CWM that I will have to flash to the phone?
EDIT - Cheers FF for the tip about the phone - It is a really great device for the price and the 2.1 is so much smother on it than on the scroll - I do hope that I can get an official 2.2 on it - That would be great, but saying that it is very good how it is at the moment. Cheers FF
