Update.................The black phone is currently out of stock, Pink and red are available, no-one can say when (or if) the black model will be replenished. Spent 1hour one the customer care line today, spoke to 5 different people who all gave me conflicting information. What I do know is that my card has been debited for the phone that is out of stock, although by one person I was given the choice of another 2 phones ( none of them android ), and that steam is now rising from my ears. My advice is stay clear until T Mobile can confirm that they actually have any !!!

I received this from T-M yesterday morning:

Your order's winging its way to you right this minute so get ready to say hello to your new £10 top-up NEW, T-Mobile Pulse Mini

The postman has winged this way today but with nothing that looks like a phone! I paid for it with a credit card and the amount is currently 'pending', i.e. not yet charged.

About 30 minutes after my last post, a courier delivered a nice new black Pulse Mini :)

First impressions are good, screen sensitivity is better than the Scroll and it appears much faster to respond to commands. Connected to my wi-fi without problem. Looks like a mini winner so far :D Just about to install CoPilot and see what happens.

Note: The unit seems to have vanished from the T Mobile website :o

Lucky bugger....you must have got the last one ! I have pulled out for now due to being misled by customer support, however they have informed me that more may be available next week but Im not holding my breath.
Might even go for the HTC Wildfire.

They have probably pulled the phone off the website because that breaks consumer law regarding displaying products for sale which are not available (Also advertising regs too )

Never mind will just cuddle up to the Scroll

Sorry you missed out. Been playing with it for the last hour and it's really quite good for the money. Couldn't get CoPilot to work, think it needs v2.2 but the inbuilt sat-nav app is OK and it found my location quite quickly with the phone leaning against a west facing window.

Boot up time is about the same as the Scroll. and the inbuilt speakers are remarkably good on speech!

"Boot up time is about the same as the Scroll" - Bloody hell, you wouldn't want to make a three-nines call in a hurry if its turned off, would you?? (Mind you, 2.1 has about the same response/boot time as our local cop shop!)

I will agree, they aren't bad handsets for the money. They are classed as "DNR" - if you send it in for repair it will get replaced without being looked at. If only their service manuals weren't written in "Chinglish"!

I would use 112, it's quicker ;)

Actually, I don't intend to use it as a phone for now, just another one of the gadgets I collect! Market works and even MyPlayer.
DNR, is that do not resuscitate??

DNR= Do not repair. I prefer to use "DNFT" - Do Not F$%^&*( Touch!

Try PDAnet for tethering (via USB). I think it should work.
