Looks good so far mainly looking to use as ebook reader. internet reception seems patchy and gallery seems to take ages to load. But I'm still happy with it.

So if anyone actually reads this - what's the one piece of advice you'd give a newbie?

Don't worry about getting greasy fingerprints on the screen, they make it much easier to use.

I was just looking at the scratches and fingerprints - how did you know!

Personally taking the screen protector off gave me a 10x better experience with its touch screen, but you have to decide if that would be a good move or not, depending on how likely you are to scratch it - using the correct supplied stylus left no scratches on mine without the protector
