INTRODUCTION-AND PROBLEM SEEN

Postby trevlook101 » February 11th, 2011, 10:52 pm

Hi everyone just got a scroll internet tablet pc and am impressed with it thus far.But have just hit on a problem that i cannot explain.I downloaded and installed many apps to the tablet but today find that it will not update the apps-it reports "DOWNLOAD UNSUCCESSFUL" each time.I installed AVG mobile onto it yesterday.Has anybody had a similar problem?

Cheers....thanks for the assist, will try this. But have noticed another quirk..concerning battery life. How long has your scroll stayed on for.I have tried mine on 50% brightness wi-fi on and after 1 hour with screen on... display shows 50% battery life. But the manual reports that i should get around 4 hours(but this is a rough estimate i fear). The firmware revision on my scroll is v1.02s.
Can most of you report on how long you have kept your scroll on for.I am suspicious that my scroll may have a problem but need input from other scroll users.

I have managed over 35 hours on idle - but with general use around 4 hours

Have you used it until it has run flat?

The battery icon does not report actual life left, instead it is better to think of it like a car's digital petrol gauge that tells you how many miles you have left in the tank if you continue driving like you are.

So you will notice the less you use it, the more the indicator shows, if you are watching videos, it will drop fast, but return to a higher level once you turn off the video etc
