I collected (stopped now, ran out of space) old radios and 1970s cassette players. Strange? Probably. But my pride & joy is my collection of 70s LED watches (about 50) and LED calculators (100+). Bit of a Magpie, me ;)

Sorry, charlie, haven't got any duplicates otherwise I would. Actually, a friend of mine got a nice one cheapish off ebay recently, so they still turn up.

For charlie & anyone who's interested :)

Image
Came from a boot sale in south London a few years ago - for £5. Brand spanking new, a very rare find. I used to get round a lot of boot sales, but they weren't a common find. Now ebay has killed them.

From the US.

These plus other similar all came from the US. I bought them from a website back in 1995/6 long before google / ebay. Must have searched on altavista. We had one machine at work on the internet :)
The guy who was selling must have owned a jewellers store, they were all in reasonable nick and working. Every week he'd post up another batch. Those were the days, I still remember waiting for the packages to come ...

Nice collection Pete, you'll have a nice pension fund if you ever decide to sell. Most of my lighters are from the 70's and 80's.

Bought a teak coffee table with a glass insert from the 70's and a nest of three tables, the coffee table was £95 of ebay but touched lucky with the nest of tables got them for £15. All the 70's is coming back in fashion, was having a look round Ikea yesterday lots of repro 70's.

Thanks for sharing some of your collection Pete, really enjoyed looking at them.

Anyone got any lighters from the 70's 80's drop me a line if your selling.
