Hi,
I am new to the forum and going to buy a Scroll Tablet. Does the device support multi languages
e.g. Chinese or French PDF documents ?
Thanks.

Hi and welcome to the madhouse!

I believe adobe reader supports different languages.

The device itself does have settings for many languages, I only use English as it is my first language. I do, however speak Arabic (but cannot read/write it very well) and Gibberish when i've had a beer or three. Therefore, I have not tried the other language settings, as I have an inherent fear of resetting to default and losing my apps.

UPDATE: Ive just tried Arabic, it does work, all the menus change correctly.

Hope this helps.
Dave

Employees are like mules. Some you stand in front of and coax them along with a carrot. Some you stand behind and kick them in the arse. The key to management is knowing which mules are which!

That is great, Fonefixer. I will go for the Scroll instead of paying 400 for other tablets.
Thanks.

Got my Scroll last Saturday from Maplin and so far I am very pleased with it. It is good value for money.
The firmware is 1.01 and with a few steps of setup I can surf the web and read emails. It is brilliant.
I do not have problem charging the battery but I did not have the Market icon on the home screen.
After reading the forum I downloaded and installed the Launcher Pro and got the Market icon now.
Cannot believe it. Since this morning I have been downloading some applications recommended by members
e.g. Android Assistant, Battery Booster, TuneIn Radio ......
Now I want to buy a memory card. Should I buy micro SD or microSDHC card ?
Appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks.

Up to you, but the SDCARD can only be used as storage, not to install apps to, I have an 8GB

Ordered a 8GB micro SDHC for less than a tenner and will be delivered early next week.
Thanks.
