Sorry to bit vague, but not sure, just followed sum instructions someone posted on here, basically copied zip to my sd card, booted up, went into dir, cleared everything then installed from sd card(update), and sorted really.

I finally got it loaded with help from dj_steve. I removed all user data and flashed it ok. I had to use modified files though.

I do have clockwork recovery installed but unrooted it before updating

Updated with no probs, everything working as should, nothing wrong with the official update on the scroll options website, and I will say it if no one else will, basically it is warpedflashes updates and build.props that breaks everything. I would suggest that he remove the relative posts and links to his updates as it wont be too long before he completely bricks a trusting newcomers tablet. A bit irresponsible to post them here as they were posted untested and before he even had a scroll!. He is just learning as he goes along like the rest of us, but unlike the rest of us he insists on encouraging users to use his edited scripts under the pretence he knows what he is doing. A classic case of a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. sorry, it needed saying.

Erm none of my previous hacks (if you can call them that they are just basic things) could brick a scroll... none of them at all.
I have a scroll now and have done for weeks so have been testing everything that I put up along with a lot of other stuff. everything was tested before I posted it on here by other members regardless.
I do know to an extent what I am doing which you will see if you were in the IRC channel, you know, talking about this stuff and not just trying to point a finger. The reason the 1.02 update was not working we already identified and fixed, we can flash it on clockworkmod.We knew what was stopping it within about 2 mins of downloading the thing lol. screen still wont work. reverted my scroll to stock EVERYTHING screen wont work.
Everything I have posted has had a disclaimer at the top and I have offered to help anyone who has had trouble with them.

Steady there, there are alot of people on this site who have found wF's updates extremely useful, myself included. I think your comments may have been a little "strong", after all, modifications are made at the users risk

I've applied this upgrade following the recipe on the Storage Options site and everything seems to be running fine.

I don't know if it is coincidence but marketplace has started working again!. I wasn't paying too much attention as I didn't expect it to work but, somehow, I was prompted for my Google login. I signed in and then I was able to download and install applications only available in Marketplace!

I don't know if that makes any sense but is working now. Before the upgrade I could select apps but they would never download.
