I imagine you could remove the files from within the zip before doing the update to prevent them being installed

The bonus of course is that we now can see how they've laid out the firmware updates to enable us to create custom firmware

We could already do custom firmwares but this is still useful to see what they have changed in it etc. I will do this update when I get home oday and see if anything nice comes of it.
