Hi All
Tried again to install clockwork, no luck at all, scroll comes up as android éclair, cannot install the drivers though
Tried Charlie’s file change, no joy
I have windows XP home sp3 on my desktop, & Linux Mint on my old laptop
Linux just doesn't see it unless I mount both internal & sd card to the laptop
Many thanks for your offer of help jasoninertia

John, before I found this forum I had the same issue with drivers not working at all... I installed PDAnet http://www.junefabrics.com/android/ and selected other as my manufacturer... drivers installed and everything connected happily!

you need to select the hardware from a list and select android composite device , make sure you are running the 32bit version of the java sdk as well , then point to the driver in the clockwork mod folder try the one in the folder , if that doesent work try the one for 32bit pcs the first one in the clockwork mod folder worked for me ,

it will not install the driver unless
1 you are not selecting the hardware from a list and selecting the closest one to your scroll
2 dont let windows do anything for you , select the hardware from a list , and select the driver your self
3 once you have installed clockwork mod , running each file in the right order you are nearly there
4 put the update.zip from this site on your ds card and update your scroll , boom everything will be up and running again .

hope this helps

Hi All
Managed to get the usb drivers to load with PDAnet
Run both batch files & every thing goes as described but clockwork does not flash over
Checked all the things that are suggested in the forum but no luck
Desperation is now the order of the day
Any ideas would be really appreciated

does the second batch file run correctly?
make sure you hold up while its booting don't let go of it (SO hold power+up to turn it on)
