I dont have any problem with my Netgear DIR-615...

Have you tried re-setting the router and also checked that the SSID is not hidden in the settings? Do you have enough IP addresses available for the number of devices connected to the router, i know you can specify a range of addresses and once they were used up it might cause an issue?

Have you tried turning off the WiFi on the scroll, rebooting it and turning it back on?

Sorry for all the random questions, am just thinking out loud the things i would try.

The IP address is usually assigned by the router, happens when it says "obtaining address" when its connecting... not sure if you can use a static on the Scroll?

I will try to reset and see if it works, also how can I check if it is SSID is not hidden?.

However, I have one question....why would it connect before and not now?.....

Thanks!

I have tried rebooting, turning scorll off and the router aswell. but not have tried resetting in. Would a factory reset on the scroll be an idea?....

The SSID settings are on the router itself, there will be an option to hide it. To be honest though if its appeared in the list before i wouldnt have thought it would be... can you see it on any other device (thats not already been connected).

I would first try turning the WiFi off, resetting, then turning WiFi back on... might just kick it in to life. Never know. As in, the WiFi in the scroll settings, not the router.

Otherwise a factory reset might work, just as long as you wont lose anything important. Free apps etc. can always be re-downloaded.

I dont think it is hidden because my iphone, all my flatmates laptop etc can find it no problem. I will try to the reset and if it doesnt work, I will phone tech support tomorrow before I have to do a factory reset.

I have this problem sometimes,

go into wifi setting on the scroll and uncheck the wifi option (so no green tick) go into the room where the router is - then tick the wifi option back on (so shows green tick) wait - it can take a few minutes - and u should have wifi back on.

P.S when in this setting screen you can also press the 'hard menu' button to show the option to scan for wifi.

Hi Charlie
I am having the problem where the router is. I ve tried countless times tonight reset, wifi tick on off and reboot to no avail :(. Does yours find other wifi but not yours or find nothing at all? What do you think the problem might be?... Hardware ie firmware? Mine is an ex display also so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. Someone sent it back for instance cos of the same problem.
