Ok this is stupid, there is 1.35GB of free space on the internal drive, and I am getting an Out of space message now with hardly any apps intalled
We need to resize the partition that holds the apps
How can we mount the root on the PC and resize it ?

the fact they have /nand mounted at all confused me...
you want to expand the system partition (its about 300mb atm if I remember correctly)
Edit: you want to expand the data partition for non-preinstaled apps
