Working ROM for scroll excel II 55262

I know its only new but if someone had a backup of there one that I could restore mine from it then wait for the firmware to be released publicly then do a fresh update from that.

What makes you think you need to replace the firmware on a new machine?

Hi I need help with my Scroll Excel II 55626,
I cannot use my wifi or Bluetooth and was wondering if anyone had the original ROM for download ?
If anyone could help me out here it would be much appreciated thanks.

Unless you got your Excel from Del Boy then if it doesn't work properly out of the box then it sounds like you need to go back to the supplier - if you start flashing ROMs you will probably invalidate any warranty irrespective of whether the hardware is faulty (in which case a new ROM won't help anyway).

If you can explain what you are doing, what networks you are tying to connect to, and in what way you can't use Wi-Fi or Bluetooth then perhaps someone can assist in determining if you have a warranty issue or if it's a matter of changing parameters on your tablet or possibly your router.

Getting Bluetooth set up is not intuitive - what do you want to use it for and with what other device(es).

Hi I need help after flashing the ROM on my Scroll Excel II 55262.
I cannot use the wifi or Bluetooth and was wondering if anyone has a working ROM and/or Original ROM

@ Charlie, I didn't realise Sean had already flashed a ROM as this one thread of his three multiple posts doesn't say so but the others do. I thought you might have been a bit hard on him first of all but on reflection looks like your video was spot on.

I know that I F**k'd up on the ROM but however I am not new to flashing the ROM I have done it multiple times and without any problems and this time out of all time I decided not to make a backup and this is how karma gets back at me I guess. Its not faulty hardware its a software error I done and now I cannot restore it.
If anyone can get or has a backup of the original or working ROM would yous upload it please ?

Sean, as you already have experience in how to flash ROMs and guessing your current problems are due to the different hardware design from the original Excel (i.e inclusion of Bluetooth) and also as at the moment you don't seem to have much to lose anyway - I wonder if you might get things up and running again by flashing the Yarvik 4.0.4 ROM which includes Bluetooth and also Face unlock features too.

I have no idea if this is compatible with or will will work on the Excel II but it does work on the First edition Excel which uses the Allwinner A10 which as far as I can determine is the same as the Boxchip A10 in your Excel II.

Thanks Charlie - I thought he was trying to flash his ROM to solve a wireless problem - for some reason I was reading it as need help with flashing rather than need help after flashing

Thanks for the advice on the yarvik but I'm still having problems I cannot activate the wifi it have a unavailable MAC address does anyone know where I could locate the MAC address file so I could change my mac back to normall so I can activate the wifi ? Thanks.
