Just close this out would you expect the drivers you provided me to work with the Elite as well as the Extreme? I guess I could ask mcevoyt which drivers/PC OS he used.

Probably not but no harm in trying them - try to find out how mcevoyt did it and use the same drivers and you should be OK.
If it isn't broken then don't try to fix it!
