Wifi keeps dropping

Ive had the same problem as Mek as in it doesnt automatically find my wifi ...its intermitent ,though its happened twice today.
I have the sky n router...wahtever make that is - Sagem i think.
i use wifi analyzer ..which tells me the best channel...which is currently Channel 1!

I am new on the forum but I've already had two issues which I am glad are not just me, especially with WIFI which can be flakey for so many reasons making it hard to isolate and diagnose.

I have an old Belkin ASDL2+ "High Speed" Wireless G router, its rock solid on nearly all the other devices in the house inc my Samsung Galaxy S (Mk1), and to be fair the Scroll maintains a good, strong connection while using it.

However, when the device sleeps the wifi does NOT automatically reconnect on wake. No biggy, but it actually shows "Error" in the Android Wifi settings where you to go to enable it. Sometimes I can just manually turn it on again and all is fine, sometimes doing so causes a spontaneous reboot!

I have had a few spontaneous reboots but they are nearly all wifi/waking from sleep related.

If you are also getting reboots are they also shortly following a waking the Excel up from sleep and/or turning on the wifi?

same here, ive owned the device for just over 3 months. i now get error prompt underneath wifi when i try to turn it on, device is sitting next to me as i write this and its reboots itself every few minutes even if the screen is locked.
on power up i get process errors from some installed Apps from SD card and a storage.com error from Tablet preinstalled apps, possibly some of the errors are due to the tablet not seeing internet so they could be related.
One issue that confuses this is uninstalling apps from memory they show to uninstall ok, upon the deivce rebooting they are back there again. it makes me think the device is no longer in its general user level, but wouldnt explain why i wouldnt get a prompt that would say user privelage etc.
If possible i may try to get the 2.3 firmware to reblat it if Mods or storage cant help. has anyone had a smiliar issue and has a fix?
