The 907 was to someone previous who posted another file name.

Also, I loaded the latest CM9 yesterday morning and in a little under 24 hours I am afraid to report it hasn't gained or lost a second.

I use One More Clock instead of the stock one on the home screen. Have you tried using a third party clock and see if that does the same?

Ah looks like i have developed a fault then.

Great and cant get back to the stock ROM to return.

As for One More Clock, thats just a display layer still uses the system clock. Just allows me to show the wrong time in another way....

I have a different problem with the clock time on my extreme, the clock loses about 2 mins per hour.I am using CM9
2012-07-21. rom.
I found an app that seems to correct the time OK on my extreme, it is called ClockSync by Sergey Baranov, and is available free from Google Play Store.Give it a try it may sort your problem.

Regards.

I thought the clock would sync with internet time?

Found this on XDA by someone called "ryannathans" I don't know if this might be what you guys are experiencing or just a red herring. Apparently android has had reported time keeping issues since 2009.

Time Drift when interacting with ui
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Been using the clocksync app from market. Using it to auto correct the time drift issue I keep experiencing.

Every time you hit the windows button and open that menu bar, the clock is fine. As soon as you close it your clock stops 'ticking' until the menu is closed usually causing up to 3 seconds of time drift, over the course of a day my time usually half an hour out at least.

Download the app and try opening and closing the menu and test it for yourself

Why does this happen? I'm happy using this app to resync time every few hours if I have to, just reporting this bug like a good tester xD

Edit: I can confirm that most interaction with the ui pauses the clock. For example, closing a menu or sliding down the notification bar.
If it isn't broken then don't try to fix it!

You would hope so, but obviously the CM9 build doesnt.

What are next weeks winning lottery numbers
As you say in your last post the most likely culprit is CM9 I would have thought which presumably, your 3 mobile phones don't have installed.

Not sure... Although you are quite correct I have stock ROMS on the mobiles, I had taken the build back to Sugsey's first 4.0.4 built, and the time still drifted at the same rate.

So not sure it is an Android bug, as others arent seeing it. Still think it could be a h/w error. Pity I cant get my Stock ROM back could return to SO, I believe they replace with teh Elite now... Never mind.
