I'm looking for a tablet case with usb keyboard. The touch screen seems to have some issues so I'd prefer a real keyboard. Seems there's none available on fleabay. All cases described as suitable for 10" tablets are too long and not high enough to support the Extreme. Anyone identify anything suitable?

Note, the only suitable cases are those described as capable of taking a 9.7" tablet or for iPad. These are desribed as 25cm x 20.5cm dimensions. 10" and 10.2" cases are too big!

I bought this from ebay.

Is also a ipad 2 case but fits the etreme perfectly. Just a few holes prodded with a bradawl for the power charger and headphones and a hole front and back for the cameras, and robert is your mothers brother :-)
BLACK LEATHER FLIP CASE WALLET COVER STAND PROTECTOR & STYLUS FOR NEW IPAD 3

Also get a stylus, which works but wouldn't win any prizes.

Noticed some have mentioned the iPad ones with keyboards. Becareful, the keyboards on the iPad ones are bluetooth and the Extreme doesn't have a bluetooth drver.

I looked at the Android USB cases with keyboards and their sizes weren't quite right.

Regards

Kevin

I’ve had the extreme a couple of days now. It’s great. However, i was wondering how long it would be before you released a wallet and keyboard case specifically for this device? I’ve been lookng around and there aren’t any that will fit the tablet. thanks

Hi Benji, thanks for your comment, we actually have a wallet and keyboard coming for the Extreme. We should have this on sale in about three weeks. We will be announcing the new product here on the blog so keep a look out for it. Best wishes, Chris

Hope this helps.

I just bought the official case/wallet for my Extreme. When I say 'official' I mean the one sold by Storage Options and also by Amazon (got mine from Amazon as it was cheaper) however the following is my review of the product which I posted tonight on Amazon.

"EXTREME"ly disappointing!!
This case/stand advertised as suitable for the Scroll Extreme/Elite 9.7 Tablet PC is unbelievably unfit for purpose.
I bought it for my Scroll Extreme 9.7 and when fitted it obscures:-
1) The charging socket (completely)???
2) The HDMI socket (completely)???
3) The rear facing camera (completely)???
4) The two speaker slots (completely)???
5) The headphone socket is partially obscured and the plug has to be inserted at an angle - not best!

So if you want to listen to sound, take a photo or video, connect it to your TV via the HDMI lead or even just re-charge the battery - you have to REMOVE THE TABLET FROM THE CASE!!!!!!
However you can access the volume control, back button, USB sockets and power button. Oh! and webcam

Shame because it appears to be made well and the Velcro type stand feature is quite neat.
Always said that I would never buy a tablet!

I've just got what appears to be the same one from S.O. On mine the charging socket is not covered and the headphone socket is nowhere near covered, however the Host USB port is partially covered. However this is on an Elite though I think the layout is the same as on your Extreme.

It looks like there may be manufacturing variations :-(

To me the speakers aren't a problem as I hardly ever use them. The rear-facing camera is a bit of an annoyance though I find that usually whenever I have wanted to use the camera there has been too much sunlight for me to see the screen and frame the shot anyway.

I won't be sending mine back as the advantages outweigh the disadvantages but I can see others may have a different take on this.
