Tweetdeck

New to the Scroll Excel and whilst I can get Google Play and most apps I want I can't get Tweetdeck to download or install. Google Play says it's not compatible and any other apk file I've downloaded won't install.

Anyone have any ideas how I can get this?

Unfortunately the Excel is not licensed by Google so many apps that will actually work ok on it remain unacessible to you because Google don't recognise any Scroll products. Look in your manual or on the Storage Options site to find alternative app download sites.

I have a Scroll Excel but i have updated the firmware to Suggsy's 4.0.4 which includes changes to make the Excel appear as a Samsung i9001 device. I have downloaded and installed Tweetdeck OK. So if you have another device (mobile phone...) that you can download Tweetdeck to then you can sideload it onto your Scroll Excel and it should work OK - it works OK on mine.

Try the older version if the latest one doesn't work.

Thanks for the suggestions but tried sideloading and downloading from other sites and all versions but still no joy. Will start installing but then just says "x Application not installed". So frustrating as prefer it over Twitter app.

Any other ideas?
