Hi All,

Weirdly, TVCatchup works fine at home on our Wireless on the tablet. TVCatchup at work on my PC works fine... but using my tablet to access TVCatchup at work, does not work.

Granted I am "Wired" with the PC and wireless with the tablet, but it all goes "out" the same hole, so I can't work out why its not working?

We have a function tomorrow nigth and I volunteered the tablet and cable to stream the England game onto a TV in the function room...as said I checked it at home and it worked fine, but at work it doesn't seem to work. "Sorry this video cannot be played" error.

It can't be flash, because it works at home... confuddled.

My last idea is that it could be the wireless access point here that is not allowing the video. I'll try to use TVCatchup on my phone on the same wireless network, that'll prove something I guess.

Have you tried the mobile app, as far as I can tell it does not rely on flash and is now possibly HTML5 the results are excellent with no stutters or lipsync issues. You can download the app directly to your tablet for free from here: http://tvcatchup.com/android.html
You will have to register using a live email account and also create a password. You suffer an initial advert to get into the chanels which is a very minor inconvenience and then away you go. I am running ICS 4.0.4 on a Scroll Excel and I get stunning results using the app but I can't make tv Catchup work at all on my tablet through the browser, which sounds like the trouble you are experiencing too.
If it isn't broken then don't try to fix it!

Update on my last post: Although TVcatchup app works astoundingly on my Excel with ICS 4.0.4, I tried to install it on my grandsons Excel which is still running on stock Gingerbread 2.3.4 and it is a disaster stutterfest and the browser way is like a frame freeze slide show - just goes to show what you can do with the hardware if you put the right firmware on it. :(

It was the wireless at work :) - Must have some restriction :(

The app is good tho, I can access and run TV through the app or the website. QUALITY :)

For those with ICS who are using the TVcatchup android app, check out the Beta 2 version.
Great improvement I think: http://static.tvcatchup.com/android/TVCb36.apk :D
