Sansa Clip warning

Don't try connecting a Sandisk Sansa Clip to an Excel unless you have backups of the Clip files. It futzes the Clip file structure moving the files from the MUSIC dir to a new Lost.dir with numbers rather than the original directories, file names and extensions.

I tried a Coby and Philips mp3 player with no problems. Both showed up as external drives as expected. Assume something in the Clip firmware clashes with ICS or the Excel mounting procedure.

I thought the Excel just couldn't 'read' the Clip til I tried to play it. I recopied the files and connected again to the Excel with similar results. This time I needed to run a disk check on the Clip to get the files to show in a 'found' folder before I could even delete them.
