@stubaldock - 6.10 uses a new custom kernel so is well worth upgrading. I would flash a fresh version.

@Jay - download them all, copy over to internal or external sd card. Flash in the order I said above. That should work but you might need the additional camera module.

did you have to install the camera module?

got it all working now thanks. Had to install the sock camera module. Also I've noticed on this rom that there is no battery percentage? it just shows the battery bar. Is there any way to bring it back as I like to know EXACTLY what percentage is left

The rom seems ok so far, i like the new bootup animation and the effect when you press the button on the side to turn the screen off.

Also I was just on youtube and my tablet froze so had to hold the power button to force it to shutdown and start up again. O have checked the cpu speed and max is set to 1008mhz in utuntu so what gives? I feel like i should return to the previous rom as it seemed more stable...or even suggsy's rc1.

Anyone elde have this error?

The battery percentage can be enabled in the system section in the settings screen.

You might need to play around with CPU a little, mine didn't like 1008Mhz but is perfectly stable at 1156Mhz

I knew something would bite me in the ass for not doing it properly all the apps that i need work bar one... yep you guessed it 'the play store' - how handy is that? I've uninstalled it, reinstalled it from easy installer and even tried the widgety gwub (play store widget) with no success.

Is there a work round or do i have to install the gapp.zip file?

Just grab the gapps zip from Christian Troys download area (http://www.androidfilehost.com/main/All ... troy/apps/) and flash it from the boot loader, will give you Play, Talk and others (I use Titanium backup to remove all expect Play).

Thanks for the heads up and I'm just going to try that now. What I did notice is that it has a screen grab option when you hold the power button down to power off, I tried it and it works a treat..... I know a couple of people were asking about how to do this

Thanks Piers you are a lifesaver, gapps installed fine and i now have the Play store back up and working again.
