Cool - are you going to release a new rom?

I am running the 29 build he did at the moment (applied it over the top of a previous one he did using that update me thing is cool).

I haven't applied any other fixes apart from the wifi kernel.

It seems quite stable and not much different speed wise to your build from what I have seen so far.

I dont see any major advantages to using CM9 so far (apart from i prefer the loading screens) - are there any advantages?

Will probably switch back to yours when I have time to mess.

ok all that talk previous posts completely lost me but if you have a new version i can flash with bbci player working , am interested ?

any way to flash update without losing all my apps i just reinstalled ? i used following link from page 1 for my current rom.

Just installed the 31 build from Christian at SD and it fixes the iPlayer problems.

I've seen LOADS of reviews about how poor WiFi reception is with the extreme(doesn't reach far). Is that to do with the hardware being cheap or is it to due with the stock firmware, does this update make it any better?

Someone said it may have something to do with the fact that it has an Aluminium backing rather than plastic?

I can go about 15 meters away and still have a good connection. Not far i know.

ahhh so it's not like the iPad in the case it has some plastic section to let the signal through :/ 15 meters is pretty poor, I guess I could share the WiFi from my phone if It was REALLY bad..(which it probably would be around uni)

Me too iplayer is almost perfect with this fix - i would say 100% better than before.

I havent had a lock up on mine or reboot like you did Piers.
