Re: Changing the boot splash image?

Youve probably done an image so sorry I'm late in saying this. But perhaps suggsy's avatar and name in android type font would be a suitable boot screen for his builds.

As the (apparently) Lone Champion, I'm astonished at the level of abuse and vitriol levelled at the stock Balloon over Mountain Lake wallpaper :( .

That it's considered to be so intolerably offensive that it can't be bourne for the seven seconds (I've timed it :!: ) it's visible while the thing boots frankly beggars belief :o .

On a related note, can I assume that most of you do a shutdown after use? In the week or so since I've got mine, I've done a full shutdown about 6 times, and half of those are due to installing CWM and playing with the backup/restore options.

I don't really find the wallpaper/bootscreen intolerable, it does look a lot better compared to some other manufactures (note: Yarvik), but it doesn't really fit in with ICS. I would prefer a landscape bootscreen image.

I had a bad experience with hot air balloons as a child. I don't know of you can get a phobia to them but if you can I guess I have one :(

Aye - A landscape boot-screen image is my preference for a tablet and a portrait one for phones, as it the way I use them.

Tongue in cheek post .... right ?

If not, sorry I upset you.

I dislike it because it is one of the naffest photos I've ever seen. If this is Storage Options idea of corporate branding, they need to go on a course.

Sorry... Just dont like the photo....

...Oh and being the wrong orientation doesnt help....

I think it is very "stock" if you know what i mean. Like they just found a pic they liked on istock and went with it. Not very professional.

It would be like apple putting a photo of a bowl of fruit on the iPad loading screen.

And that's why I made this one - just hope someone can integrate that into the ROM :)
