Lost Password?!

hiya! im new and have been a user of the scroll excel since Christmas i LOVE it! but about 3 months i changed the password and forgot! i have tried EVERYTHING i can find online but non of it works for my tab! , i stumbled upon this site when researching on my tablet to find something to (hopefully) fix it , but as i came across here i thought i would post a question!

While browsing my google results a came across the three same things a lot : reset button , forgotten password option and google account , well on my tab there is no reset button , no forgotten password option and no option to enter a google account

So what can i do??!!! i cant take it back as a got it from a seller recommended by storage options on amazon , i cant personally trace it back as my auntie bought it online for my mum as we dont have cards so PLEASE help! i love it and will NEVER be able to afford a tablet again!

enter the recovery and do a factory reset from there
turn off device then
vol-up and power
or menu and power takes you into recovery feactory reset from there but you will lose all youre apps etc
