I have an HTC desire as well as a Scroll Excel and found I had problems with TVcatchup on the desire when I upgraded from Adobe Flash 10.2 to 11. So I uninstalled Adobe Flashplayer 11 on the scroll and reinstalled Adobe flash 10.2 through the ScrollApps app and find tvcatch up works fine. Some channels are better than other eg Five runs much more smoothly than BBC channels but they all seem to work!

I cannot get TV catchup to run on my new Excell. On trying to open any channel, a small dialogue box opens asking me If I wish to save a file. If I yes, the file is saved but wont open anyway.

Can someone put me right? Thanks
Bazz

Baz, the website seems to think that you are using an ipad (it doesn't recognise the scroll. Try typing in www.android.tvcatchup.com into the browser and see if that works.

Thanks for that, but same thing still happens; a file like 'playlist-10.m3u8' downloads, and if I try open it I get a message that there is no application available for such a file.

Both BBC and ITV players work fine.

Using I.C.S. stock browser Log onto http://ipad.tvcatchup.com/ & use MXVideo plays perfect.

Tried this mobile address on my stock Excel with GB and I got a pretty good video but a very choppy audio which I couldn't listen to at all. I downloaded and installed the TVcatchup Beta android app http://tvcatchup.com/android.html but all this does is look nice when you load the app and I can't get it to perform at all. However, using desktop mode I can get a watchable TVcatchup performance in traditional Dolphin Browser mode.

Update Since I updated the Scroll Excel to ICS I have discovered that although I still can't watch tv Catchup using either the stock player or Mobo player - because it just stutters and chops all over, I can play it perfectly and smoothly using MX Player. Don't know if it makes a difference but whilst downlaoding MX Player from market I also downloaded the MX Player codec (ARM7). I am using the mobile site http://m.tvcatchup.com/

Yes, I put it on the other day and have seen no problems.

I am running Suggsy's ICS 4.03 on my Excel, with a pretty good Virgin connection ( Netflix is awful on the same system though ).
