Thanks

I think that was my original problem.

I tried your CWM5 Stock Excel.zip and that's when it went wrong.

I had done it before without any problem, but now it just bricks it.

No you need flash it via adb or dd the recovery image to the Excel. Make sure you only use the one on ICS post.

Never used adb so don't know how to do it with that.

Excuse my ignorance, but what do you mean by '
dd the recovery image to the Excel.

I presume
one on the ICS post
is your fix that I tested for you?

The only problem now is I cannot get it into cwm to install Suggsy89's fixes for calender etc.

I press the volume+ key and power on, let go of the power on button after a few seconds, then after a few more let go of the volume+ button. It then boots as normal.

I have tried it with the home button as well.

Am I doing it wrong?

Excuse my ignorance whats wrong with the calender.
Did you install the tablo ics 4.0.3 version.?

I installed the ICS from Suggsy89 and until you install his fix the calender will not sync.

I tested the fix for him and it sorted the calender sync and some other issues.

However I have been having battery issues in that it seems to drain very quickly.

Tried a reset and then could not get back into cwm so reinstalled that and that is where this post started as it looked like I had bricked it.

FYI current details are:
Model No M701C
Android version 4.0.3
Baseband version 0.9
Kernel version 3.0.8+
inet_dada@Inetsoftware #9
Build number 97F1-D1-H2-H01-N412.20120225

I would try the tablo ics 4.0.3 install and see how your tablet functions, I believe the calender does sync .
The battery issue is a hardware fault and I can't see how this can be fixed unless someone has a backup of the original firmware of 2.3 gb and then you can install that and send it back to the vendor for a replacement.

As long as you sign into calender first sync should work. I have not provided CWM as a .zip file to flash via stock recovery. You have to run the .bat file which uses adb, if your not confident about that, try a google search its quite easy to setup. Also the Tablo ICS seems to be getting good reports so you could try that if your not happy?
