CPU is slightly warm, not hot.

If I disconnect the power cable it switches off straight away. This has been the problem with the battery in that it has not been holding a charge so I can only get it to switch on when the power or usb cables are attached.

The battery problem has been a while, but yesterday I tried a reset by holding the power button for 30 seconds and that seemed to cure it as I was able to use it for a couple of hours without being plugged in.

The problem I had then was I could not get my calender to sync so was going to re-install your fix. It was then that I could not get into CWM so decided to re-install that. That appeared to go ok, but on the reboot it stopped working and I just got the android logo that you use for your avatar.

Having had it unplugged for about 10 minutes the cpu is cold.

Thanks Suggsy89

Tried Livesuit, but I get a small box with Livesuit at the top and a question mark in a triangle with an 'OK' box.

I click on that and I am just back to Livesuit with all the icons along the top.

Success - eventually got livesuit to recognise it and have reflashed Suggsy89's ICS rom.

Now all I need to do is re-install everything!

Thanks for the help, much appreciated.

Reinstall the system using livesuite 1.07. select your ics version. (I recommend the tablo version )
First thing to do if there is power in the battery, take the charger out then put a small pin in the reset hole and push to reset while holding down volume + button and press power on button up to 10 times the drivers will then install ,and it should load the O.S.
For some reason if the charger is connected live suite sometimes does not work. :D
I see you have got it working.
PS .No need to take the back off hold in the reset button with a pin.

Thanks

The only problem now is I cannot get it into cwm to install Suggsy89's fixes for calender etc.

I press the volume+ key and power on, let go of the power on button after a few seconds, then after a few more let go of the volume+ button. It then boots as normal.

I have tried it with the home button as well.

Am I doing it wrong?
