Ebay - Ebuyer?

Postby budgie » April 26th, 2012, 6:07 pm

Looks like the Extreme has come down in price again. From what I can make out this is the second time in two weeks!
£167.99 and free delivery!!!! - Am I missing something?
Are they worried that sales are dipping off?

@budgie - It might be because they have loads of units left and not long before their exclusive selling rights for the Extreme ends, which I guess it will in early May.

That makes sense.
I guess I should have waited a bit before buying mine - still hindsight is a wonderful thing eh!

I'm a little miffed, just bought this tablet 3 days ago for £180.00. Was informed it was only available from Ebuyer.com, so bought from there. Didn't know it was available else where. :?

I asked about the price difference and felt it wrong to be out ot stock/overchaging on the main site.
There reply

Dear xxxxx

Thank you for your contact with our Customer Support Team.

The prices for items on our website fluctuate on a daily basis. This can be for different reasons such as some items being sourced from other warehouses, or the cost price to us may be less therefore the item can be sold at a lower price. We are only able to sell an item for the price it is at the time of placing your order. Unfortunately we cannot advise if or when these price changes will occur.

Regarding EBay items, these are drawn from an alternate source and so the order would need to placed through Ebay to obtain EBay prices.

I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience or upset that this may have caused.

Kind Regards,

I will allways check the Ebay site first from now on, but they've lost a lot of my trust over this.
