I was downloading the zip files from xpa site and didn't realise there was 3 different files under the scroll heading. I so I never had installed the clockworkmod recovery zip once I done this every thing fell in to place. The rom seems to work well, apart from I can't get wifi activated, and it turns on the 1 min and it turns off. In that time it does not scan or find my router. I so any help would be good as good rom with no wifi is bad.

Thanks
Odd about the wifi have you set the sleep policy to "never" in wifi setting
And you have to do two wipes when you first flash cm7
in boot to cwm rcovery and wipe factory rset
then wipe davlik cache
You only need to do this the once then you can go back and forwrd as you like

Driving myself nuts :)

Scroll 7" Resistive 51624 v2 1.02s

Updated to clockworkmod (which took some doing. Had to use the capacitive screen cersion with GB rom)

Tried every C7 rom for scroll.

Only one that boots is the miscroll one.

Reset to factory/clear cache/dalvik before installing each rom

WIFI doesn't work. Switches on, 10 secs, switches off.

Tried manually swapping system/wifi contents from other builds into the miscroll zip...no joy.

Tried extracting the wifi folder files from my original out the box backup...no joy...comes up "error" trying to activate wifi.

Would really like a >2,1 build on the thing.

Help ? :)

You should be able to reflash the original 1.02s images from CWM recovery. Copy the image zip files to the root of your sdcard, factory wipe/format etc. mount sdcard then go to "install zip from sdcard --> install the original zip files, except mtd6 which is stock recovery.
