@justb - did you get the the part where you have to download 525MB?

I just have - If you did not, make the change I said a few posts ago.

No, that's the part where it fails. I have Chainfire (the free one) and I have the plugins, do they only work with the full version??

And just to confirm, it is working for you with the Pro version?

It took ages to dl that 525MB, anyway, just been playing Asphalt 6 on the Excel with NO Chainfire :D

Not sure if this is part of the game, but for steering, moving the screen does nothing and I have to tap on the left or right side of the screen to steer left or right.

I will update the build.prop on the 'How To'

@justb - Just use the new build.prop and do parts 1 & 3 of the 'How To' again - Sorry about that.

Cool, it works now. :-)

I am having a strange problem with Asphalt 6 and GL to SD though, it won't run unless I have wifi turned on. With it off it says checking licence and then asks for network connection or close. I think it is a licence issue.

It also seems to appear twice in GL to SD??

It's nothing to do with GL to SD, it happens anyway. I have to have wifi on when I launch as it checks the licence every time :-( It is a legitimate version that I have paid for. Is there a limit to how many devices you can have in the market??

Or maybe it is not writing to the file that the check was succesful? Maybe the registration file does not have write access?

@Charlie
@Mitre
It could have been a one-off, but since running Mitre's firmware, Android market doesn't think a new device is being used after a data wipe/factory reset. So it doesn't keep adding another duplicate device.
In fact I have done two factory restores, and when I reinstalled my apps etc using Titanium, and went to the market to install the stubborn apps, I logged onto the Market on my PC to double check. And unless I am mistaken, no new devices have been added.:-)
So it's either your Build.prop Charlie, Mitre’s firmware, or CWM5?
Answers on a postcard. Or on the back of a sealed envelope, I ain't picky:-)
I have also pushed Contact and Calendar sync adapter apps to /system/apps instead, so both work straight after a data wipe. I have also pushed Titanium to /system/preinstall. Works a treat. Next will be Super User.
I'm learning:-)
