Rooting Scroll Tablet with 2.3.3

I have rooted my scroll tablet (2.3.3) but appear not have super user status i.e.
$su
su: uid 10044 not allowed to su

does any one have any ideas what this error means?

I used z4root and Term.apk

I successfully used these on my previous scroll (2.1)

Any help/thoughts would be gratefully appreciated.

Rooted our 2.3 units with superoneclick, no problems.

can I ask which version of superoneclick you used?
