Thanks Charlie, I've got an ASUS Eee Pad Transformer now, trying to remember which apps n tricks I learned from the other one !

How about you? Still with the good old scroll ?

I heard the Transformer was a really good tablet.

I still have the scroll - all working good - it's just a damn shame that the cpu will never get flash support - otherwise it would have made a great tab for me.

Running Honeycomb 3.2 so a new OS to learn :D

Did you guys ever get a stable 2.2 or 2.3 running on the scroll ?

Oh the joy of flash, nice one.

There is a stable 2.3 port that is on here that the member 'Fun' did - it has a few bugs (not tried it myself), but is way better than the 2.2 port

Hi Det!

I'm afraid I've defected as well and bought a viewpad 7, which is good enough for my needs. Hrh has still got the scroll but the battery is beginning to fail now.

The "fun" version works ok on the scroll apart from the accelerometer.

I'll see about changing your username back this morning and ill pm you if/when done

UPDATE: Det ive re-activated your old account, changed the email and password (email is the one you have on your det1 account) can you please check your email and make sure you can log in ok (I logged in as you and it works ok - i also sent you an email from your account with your new password). Once we know its ok ill delete the new account but retain the posts

Off Topic - Sorry.

I nearly got the viewpad 7" (after seeing Scopes post) but with it having the ARM 11 v6 CPU (so no flash) and it not having HDMI out - (2 things I really need I a new tab) - I decided it was not the one for me. Shame because other than missing those 2 bits, it's a damn good tab.

As for the Scroll battery - I think mine is on the way out too - for the 1st time EVER, it went from 84% power to warning 4% then switched off, but when switching back on with the charger in for a minute, it shows power again at 84%. I hope that it is just a conflict with a recent app installed. Or I might have to open her up and see if I can replace the battery.

Hey FF!

Just checked out the specs of the Viewpad 7, looks pretty sweet !

Hows the capacitive touch screen treating you? Nice not to have to use my finger nail anymore lol

Is the Scroll not still under its 1 year warranty ? The battery should have lasted longer than that I would have thought.

Cheers for fixing my old account, good to be back :D Ive PMd you so you can delete my new account
