firmware 1.02v

firmware 1.02v

Hi, i don't claim to be knowledgeable on these matters; but i have a scroll with firmware version 0.92 and want to upgrade to 1.02. The manufacturer website no longer has the firmware update, could anyone point me in the right direction or supply me the upgrade file - thanks in advance.

I could, but my advice would be not to. You probably have the 0.94 firmware which is the best of the lot. The 1.02 firmware was designed to correct errors on devices loaded with firmware 1.01 only. (Which is not as good as your version)

I would agree with Fonefixer, STICK with the firmware version you have - If you do find the upgrade and use it, you will have LOADS of issues. It should NEVER have been called an upgrade is the 1st place, it was a BUG FIX for FW 1.01
In your post you say firmware 0.92 - is that right or do you mean 0.94?

OK thanks yes jtdu simpy version 0.94, I just wanted to install The cyanagenmod upgrade and it seems needed as the file says to upgrade from 1.02 and no 0.94 option.

oh I see, ask in that thread for more information, but I don't see any reason why you can not go from FW 0.94 to the cyanagenmod version - as putting that rom on will totally wipe all of what you have on the scroll now.
