MiScroll font/icon size

Got a MiScroll the other day. I'm fairly impressed with it but find the font and icons way too big for the screen. It's like when a monitor is used at below it's native resolution and everything seems a bit washed out. Anyone got any ideas how to fix this?

download LCD density changer from the android market you most probably need root access
change the dpi to 180 (lower the number smaller the icons and overall appearance)
you can do this manually by modifying the build.prop file with a text editor (root explorer)
build.prop is found in /system you will need root access for this too

Thanks for the reply but couldn't get it to root. Tried z4root 1.3 with no luck so all the following steps wouldn't work either. Is there an alternative rooting apk?

try super one click http://shortfuse.org/?page_id=2 you will need a pc and usb drivers for your scroll

Ta suggsy, tried super one click. Everything installed ok inc. drivers. However, the programme just hangs when the root or shell root button is pressed. Think it's worth letting SO know about this?

what version android are you using? 2.1? try visionary+

try to temp root first, install root explorer, open root explorer and see if you can mount system/rw

It's 2.3 on the miscroll. I'll have a go at visionary+ later. Thanks for your help.

No joy with visionary+ either.
Just sent SO support a message about this. Let's see what happens.

are you sure super one click doesn't work?
how did you use it... what exploit did you try?
