miScroll here

Postby mikeyboy » July 1st, 2011, 2:49 pm

So I bought the new miScroll. I think it was because it came from a real UK company (although obviously made in China) and had Android 2.3. Now it is here and I have not opened it because from what I read it will not run flash, android market, iplayer, etc and runs a 1Ghx processor that isn't really a 1Ghz processor but an overclocked one! :o

I fear I have made a terrible mistake, as I am not the sort of guy to meddle with basic settings (root?) of something I just bought.

I almost looks like I should have bought the Tabtech M009s instead and saved about £40 into the bargain!

Any comments appreciated before I either rip the box open or return it to the supplier.

Thanks,
mikeyboy

Hi Mikey, welcome to the secure unit for deranged scrollers!

Theres a bit of info on the miscroll here, people have reported the market to be working (48 hours so far - the normal scroll packs up in less than 24)

Use the search function top right, input "miscroll" (without quotes) and you should find other users that are happy with them.

Thanks, but all I see is chisme saying they have market for 48 hours! Better than nothing but hardly enought to bring unbridled joy to a prospective new user! I may just lurk here for a bit longer and see what reviews say. It is just killing me having my new toy all wrapped up and cannot open it and play in case it needs o go back.

Mine does, I have two android devices and cross-load the apps.

Another famous way, applanet s offline at the moment I believe but should be back online soon.

hi guys its like 2 1/2 weeks since a purchased the miscroll and yes the market still works, you dont have the market app you just add your google account then use a pc to go to the android market, when you find a app click install you can then selecr 800mhz telechips, then the package will download.
