How to dump stock recovery
download this zip .....????? and install it from stock recovery. stock recovery image will be dumped as /sdcard/dumped_recovery.img and /proc/mtd will be copied as /sdcard/dumped_proc_mtd.txt.

* How to install ClockworkMod Recovery 4
a. download recovery.zip as /sdcard/update.zip and install it from stock recovery
or
b. flash recovery.img via fastboot (if fastboot mode is available)
or
c. flash recovery.img via flash_image on root shell
or
d. replace recovery.img in tcc8900_mtd.img, then flash via FWDN (if FWDN mode is available)

Where do I get recovery.zip from (are you refering to scroll7-recovery-signed.zip? if so do I rename it? tried that but then scroll says it's not signed)

sorry ed i took the link off as i dont know anyone who had tested it saying that its made by fun and hes pretty hot at all this so i cant see there would be a problem its on the top of 2nd post on funs forum

the recovery.zip is clockwork4
the cyanogen.zip is funs 2.3rom
dont remame them just put them in the root of sdcard

Ok I got calibration and WiFi working. Still seems unresponsive. There's loads of mod settings I can play with but I'm not sure what they do.
Rotation is bugging me atm and I can't find an app on the market to cure it. Any idea who the author is of the one mentioned before?

I rebooted into Android system recovery, ran apply sdcard update, Scroll says:
failed to open update zip no such file or directory.
Signature verification failed.
instalation aborted.

If you are installing the new recovery you need to rename the file to update.zip and it must be in the root of the SD card. When you load the other two zip files they don't need renaming.
