If you Google " redseaholidays.co.uk" and look up the Siva Grand Beach that's the best hotel in Hurghada! Considering its all inclusive its cheap too. I used to go,there April/October, you can get the price down to about £1400 for two weeks/two people. You won't need money when you get there, trust me! ( apart from about 15 quid for entry visa)

I'm curious! As I understand it, you can't take Egyptian currency out of the country so when you have made your millions and wish to return to the UK, what do you do? Unless of course you are being paid in UKP.

@Mitre: Ever been to Playa de El Médano on Tenerife? Surf's good due to the jet wash from the nearby airport

Egyptian law states that you cannot take more than 500L.E. (Egyptian Pounds) INTO the country, the same law applies outbound. (I have taken more than that there and back and have never been stopped.) However, you can convert it into US Dollars at any bank and its allowed.

I use HSBC bank who have branches over there. International transfers are allowed for Non-Egyptian citizens so I am covered.

Im paid in US Dollars at a fixed rate compared to GBP.
