My four year old granddaughter uses her left hand and writes backwards! We're hoping she will grow out of it

I think ive heard of children doing that before, does she only write backwards? I used to have a friend at school (yes I can remember that far back!) that only used to write the letter "S" backwards, all other letters were written normally.

Her writing is, so far, rather limited to her own name and her sister's!! She writes in both directions but predominantly right to left. She hasn't mastered grimace yet though I used to get my b's and d's arse about face!!

It was, I got my fingers rapped with a wooden ruler at school. That was in the days when they dealt with unruly pupils properly

I used to write backwards when i first went to school my teacher had to use a mirror to read it and said it was perfect with a mirror lol.
