Calling all Evoke owners,

-What is the mAh rating of the battery that is in your evoke tablet?

-What is the rough average time of use you get from a full charge?

Thanks

Hi Charlie,
I understand the Evoke has a 3000mah battery. Afraid I can`t comment on battery life because i`ve only had it two weeks and I`ve never run the battery below 25%. Usually takes about 3hrs to gget to this level, which is about how long it took to type this reply on the screen keyboard!!!

Thanks,

I thought it was 3000 mAh - I'm just testing a 7" tablet with same battery spec. & 4~hrs is what I get too, hoping it would be longer, seems the rk3066 is a hunger chip.

I turn everything off in the power control widget to extend battery life a little bit.
Obviously if I need bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, or regular synching I just flick them back on as required.
I don't usually need the high brightness screen or even the medium one, so it stays on low most of the time.
All in all, that, plus disabling the bloat apps, probably gets me up to an average 4.5 – 5 hours life.

Screen brightness makes a measurable difference - that would be my principal tweak

Also, don't be tempted to stop charging at 99% (it seems to get stuck at this level for a while) leave it to get to 100% as this will make a difference

Edit: I'm getting about 5hours with mixed use, but clearly if you play 3D games the battery will get eaten up pretty quickly

It really needs at least a 3500mAh battery - this is the evoke's weakest point, but for the price I can't complain
