Contacts list/address book

I'm very new to the Scroll Extreme. I'm gradually finding my way around most of the functions (slowly - I'm 76 years old !). Despite help from my ISP and Scroll Support, I haven't been able to get my normal Windows e-mail (gofast) established on the tablet - we've come to the conclusion that it is not compatible. However, I have managed to get my alternative Hotmail e-mail account up and running on the tablet. But I have no Contacts list (or Address Book as it is referred to in some quarters). How do I get my Contacts list on the tablet, please, and how do I manage it there ?

I posted a similar problem in viewtopic.php?f=57&t=2793 the other day - so far no replies.

It seems the contact list is there but hidden and only accessible through the email app. It does appear to use the Google Contacts and I managed to work round the problem by :

1 Exporting my Thunderbird address book to a csv file on my pc.
2 Importing the csv into Google Contacts - https://www.google.com/contacts

The imported addresses were then accessible in the Android Email app - start typing a few letters into the To: filed and suggestions from the Google address book are offered.

Horrible and long-winded I know but it has given me a start - now if there was an easy way to get at the Google Contacts UI on the Scroll that would be all I needed.

Thanks for that BobC. I'll see what I can do. I occurs to me that a facility like an easily-imported Contacts List should be a standard feature.
