My Extreme Review

I purchased my Extreme on Friday from Ebuyer and as always their delivery was excellent. I received my Extreme on Saturday morning and jumped straight in, Firstly can I just say I did not expect the quality and performance of a high-end Tablet but was pleasantly surprised at the build quality and feel of the Extreme. After around an hour of using the Tablet I was already becoming frustrated, as others have mentioned it just cannot stream video. Trying to watch 4od online was painful, my Galaxy S2 does this beautifully but the Extreme just fails at any type of online video streaming. This for me is a big dissapointment

Secondly came a much bigger issue, the charger will not charge the device! I plug it in and it will not show the charging icon. Its like it doesnt fit and unless you perch it up against something that forces the charger in it doesnt work. I can accept some faults as at the end of the day it is a value tablet but this just isnt acceptable.

I am most probably going to send back the device to Ebuyer today, can I expect a full refund as I cannot charge my device?

Also downloaded Football Manager 2012 fror £6.99 and it just wont it run it, ridiculously slow and the buttons dont seem to react to my touch

Since it's faulty they should just send you a replacement (once you have RMA'd the original). I have not tested browser steaming yet, however I have tested YouTube and TVCatchup (Freeview steaming) and they work perfectly.

Noticed that none of the sockets on mine are ok, they all work but power pin etc dont push right in, SD card fits ok though. Had to force my headphones in.had to compare it to the supplied headphone jack to make sure it was the correct size jack,

It's not a solution, but an alternative would be charging via USB if you've not tried it.
