I connect my extreme to pc via supplied cable, nothing appears on my pc and nothing appears on extreme, tech support say i should turn on USB storage by tapping icon in bottom RHS but no icon appears, also when connected to my laptop it shuts down the usb post and i need to reboot the laptop to use the port again on win7, on my windows xp desktop if i connect the lead the message appears saying power surge on usb port, does my unit have a faulty usb port.

Has anyone had this problem, tech support are asking me to return to them for a warranty replacement

Just this minute connected mine to Win7 64 laptop. Extreme screen went black with green andriod droid and a Turn on usb storage. Appears as MID and removable stroage with LOST.DIR So far copied a film but I have no drive size info.

It seems short cicruit.
First change the usb cable. When error still occured that means your tablet is damaged.
