Has my Extreme just died?

When I walked away from Extreme a couple of hours ago it was showing something like 30% battery life. I've been working on PC and when I wenty back the tablet had (as usual, or so it seemed) gone to sleep.

Problem is, I can't wake it. I have plugged it back into the mains charger and there is no indication that it is charging (I do have a green light on the charger); I've held the power switch in for 10 seconds (or more) with no response.

Does it have a magic - "poke a straightened paper clip here" reset hole? The manual doesn't show one. Or does anyone know any other secret conbination of buttons to achieve the same effect.

Thanks.

There's a reset hole on the back of the case on mine.

Best of luck with the reincarnation!

Woohoo. You're a life-saver Puddleduck. Still showing 36% juice, so it must have just got it's knickers in a twist. Note to self - remain in range of a paper-clip.

UnkDB - yep, there is a reset hole on the back, use a paper clip as suggested - same thing happened to my Extreme - only it won't wake up no matter what I do. :(

Try charging it via usb (port furthest from normal hole)

My power cable was dodgy out the box, got plenty of micro usbs knocking about tho...

You *should* get the green battery on the screen. Green battery still showed on mine even when it was knackered.
