Ok guys, who is going to give me a "crash" course (maybe an unfortunate phrase) on overclocking, what it will do to my Extreme and whether or not I should do it...
Thanks in advance...

You probably shouldn't. Any clock speed increase that remains stable will probably not affect general usage performance in any way. If you're unhappy with the general performance, I would imagine it's hampered more by the CPU architecture than the clock speed.
I personally would say there is too much to risk for too little gain, especially since there's no proven guide for this specific tablet.

The kernel does not support overclocking, pushing the cpu above 1.2ghz will crash the tablet, it will just reboot.
Underclocking is fine though lol. SetCpu is a good app, or AnTuTu CPU Master, they both do the same job.

Points taken....thanks guys.
Was just wondering if there was a way of squeezing a little more juice out of the Extreme, but your are quite correct.
I'm not likely to do develop or tweak my Extreme, bought it for Web browsing, Email and the odd game of Backgammon (which I still cant find a good one). Thing is, I'm still in play mode with it, so just tinkering and perhaps I should stop before I brick it...
Cheers.
