Thought I'd try a different lancher, went for Go Lancher HD for pad.

Very impressed, it seems much quicker and lists the Google Play icon and the people icon so you can view your contacts.

Ive just downloaded the Pad version, its a nice bit of kit that

Downloaded apex launcher which also works well and gives a Google play shortcut too
