oh.... sorry, must have misread your post.

I'm not sure in that case, especially if you cant get cwm running.

I'm afraid I'm not that technically gifted but I'm sure someone on here will be able to help.

Does anyone have a zip file of the stock rom. Cant restore from my backup, it complains about md5 mismatch.

Not that I want to go back, just getting fed up with the clock error. I'm sure it wasnt an issue on the sock rom, but maybe I was wrong.

Tried earlier builds and the clock runs fast, and never noticed that back then, so maybe this is a hardware issue.

Now trying sugsey's early build.

What ROM are you using. Looks like it could be a common fault on all Extremes.

Typical, I only find out now.

You need the 907c compatability file.

I've managed to sort out my problem so I thought I would share here in case anyone else gets stuck.

Problem... could not access cwm using any variation of holding volume keys and power button. Tablet would not load to OS, it just stayed looping on the loading screen.

Via USB my laptop would still detect that an 'android' was connected but I could not access any memory/SD on the tablet.

So, while the tablet was on the loading screen I connected to my laptop via USB and ran the batch file for installing cwm. Chose option 1 which is reported as failing, ran option 2 for reboot which also failed.
This must have acknowledged something inside my tablet as after powering it down then back on without holding any extra keys it booted straight into cwm.

From here I was able to restore my stock backup successfully then I started from scratch to install cm9 which is now running great for me.

Hopefully that makes some sort of sense and may help someone.

Cheers

nope.... done that, done it again just incase, but my extreme is still gaining time. gained 4 mins in the last 3 hours which is same gain as before.

looks like i have to forget time on the extreme, which messes up other stuff, like relability of time stamps on files, so backups etc.... starting to think like others that you get what you pay for, and the extreme maybe not the bargain i first thought.

That is strange, I know computer clocks are usually pretty inaccurate but if it's set for auto update it should adjust periodically.

My Extreme has always shown the correct time whenever I've looked.

Stumped.

Kev,

The 907 was to someone previous who posted another file name.

Also, I loaded the latest CM9 yesterday morning and in a little under 24 hours I am afraid to report it hasn't gained or lost a second.

I use One More Clock instead of the stock one on the home screen. Have you tried using a third party clock and see if that does the same?

hi folks,
Has anyone found that with CM9 the Scroll Extreme goes into deep sleep mode which can only to recovered by hold the power button until it shuts off?

I have installed Wake My Android Pro app which I think has reduced the frequency but is still a problem. Has anyone tried this app and found a setting that works, I'm using the default 19 minutes.
