doh... my mistake, I didnt read your postgv properly. thought you had an Extreme.

Glad it works well for your Excel. The comments I saw was re a 9.7 tablet like the Exreme, as their bigger case is not the correct size for the Extreme.

It's a perfect fit and the stand works well, nice black leather (look?) finish.

The mini USBs are accessible and the Micro SD card slot. I found I can turn on and off by pushing against the fabric.

I'll make 2 small holes for the power input and earphones.

May make holes for the speakers although they are loud enough for me as is.

The cameras are obscured so may do more surgery later.

First impressions are good and nice that the Extreme doesn't slide all over the place any more.

The one with keyboard looks a little bit 'tacky' and cost £10 more than the ipad one.

The cheaper wallet style is good, nd protects the tablet really well. I cut some hokes for camera, but that was my choice.

i have the cheaper wallet style one for my excel sit well for typing watching films ann folded right back foe norma; holding the tablet so i can recommend that and get a Rii2 wifi keyboard if you want to type

There is a fraction of a mm in it. It meant that I could not get it into a clear hard case (back protection) that my son has for his ipad2, but the wallet type it fits snug, as there is a little give in the case.

thanks was just wonering if the clip on style keyboards and covers for ipad would work with a little modding for usb etc but maybe not then(ps i know most are bluetooth but maybe one day!)

Just noticed on a YouTube review of the USB Keyboard style case (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/USB-Keyboard- ... 1c2617837b) that when the Keyboard was in use the screen still showed the virtual keyboard. I appreciate that the clip was using an older Android version (dont know which, but it didnt look like ICS).

Is this really the case, when you use a keyboard, you still get the "virtual" keyboard on the screen, as if that is the case, doesnt it reduce functionality somewhat. When I use a real keyboard, I would want to see a full screen of info.

Actually, missed a trick there didn't I..... Plug a USB keyboard in and try myself.....

Well Just plugged in a keyboard to type this response and the answer is NO. On ICS at least, using a real keyboard and the virtual screen keyboard is NOT disolayed.
