Query 3G connection/Mifi??

I looked at the two but decided to go with a 3g usb stick. I saw the battery life of a MIFI device was around 3-4 hours which put me off. 02 sell a E173 which works on my Extreme.

Thank you for your reply. So i wont be able to use a dongle to connect to the internet using my scroll extreme?

I would only need to use this when i am away from home..

You will be able to use a dongle, however you need to get one that works with ICS. The ones I mentioned in the post above does work.

I use a Three (3) MiFi dongle-mabob with my scroll, phone, laptop and PS3 (due to the lack of a landline), I'm paying £18 a month for 15GB data a month (i regularly use around 12-14gb) - though i did get this at the same time as my HTC Desire HD contract, with the exception of four small areas i've found i get no signal, it works fine! having had it for just over a year now, the battery still lasts several hours, in my opinion (especially if you dont want to eat into your mobile phones data allowance) this is your best bet, turn it on, within a minute its up and running and is small and light enough to carry around.

1gb per month plus the mifi for £11 a month isn't bad, don't forget upto 5 devices can connect at once too

personally i hate all these places offering 'free wifi' so i carry my own lol

if you dont feel like being tied to a long contract you might be able to find a second hand one, and bung in a pay as you go sim
