Ok so you've got bbc iplayer on your new scroll Excel what about ITV
the Market says that the scroll Excell is not compatible (web) and ITV app dont show up on Market app. But heres a work around
first up go to Market and install Adobe AIR then using the scroll browser go to this link
http://www.apktops.com/itv-player-1-0-0.html
download the apk (its under the barcode/QR code) and install it on the Excel Job done.
you have to put in an email address to use the ITV app its not an option
Enjoy

Every time I try to download Adobe AIR to my Excel, the Adobe site just gives me an error message, though if I try the same thing via my desktop using exactly the same internet connection there is no problem. Can anyone tell me what the problem is?

I assume you are asking this question because you have already installed ITV PLayer which needs Adobe air 2.6 or higher to work. The Adobe site only gives options for Windows or Mac. You need to get Adobe air here:
https://play.google.com/store/search?q=adobe+air
This should install properly and allow you you use ITV Player on your Excel.
